Allow Caregivers to do everything from the app

Tim Cooke 7 years ago updated by Lisa Izzo 5 years ago 1

Currently CGs have to logon to the web portal to change their password for the fist time. This is cumbersome and causing much confusion, Please allow CGs to do everything from their APP including setting their password for the first time.

Create a flexible schedule option

Tim Cooke 7 years ago updated by Lisa Izzo 5 years ago 1

We have a client who wants cleaning once per month. They have flexibility around the day it is done and the time of day.

Please create a way to assign a shift for a specific day but allow the CG to clock in whenever they want that day.

Please also create a way to assign a similar shift but also allow them flexibility to clock in within a date range. For example not before Monday, but as late as Wednesday.

Open Schedule report

Brian Perruccio 7 years ago updated by Lisa Izzo 5 years ago 1

Add a column in the Open Schedule Report with how many hours each open shift is and then have a total tally for the report.  So if you pull the report for a full week you can easily see how many HOURS are unscheduled.

"Select All" Task Button

Casey 2 months ago 0

The button to "select all" tasks needs to be either eliminated or made as an optional function to agencies. It creates a lot of problems with caregivers mistakenly selecting it or intentionally selecting it to get through the tasks quickly.

The issue is that, for most of us, these tasks become legal documents if we were to ever have an issue with a client or their care. By having this select all button, that causes a gray area in our legal documentation and could come back to bite us.

New Platform

Erin 10 months ago updated by Josh Mitchell 10 months ago 1

There are many things I find frustrating about the new platform Caresmartz has switched over to. I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years and have made adjustments when a new system was put into the hospitals, so I have many suggestions. The first and most important is it's not easy to follow as everything looks the same and the asterixs are tiny. It is also not user friendly because I can't utilize the website from a mobile device as there are too many boxes and scroll areas (making it impossible to use from a phone). Many changes need to be made through out the day and having management out in the field, not just sitting at a desk makes it very challenging to update any schedules that need to change. I would use the mobile app, however it doesn't offer a claims code and a lot of our clients all need claims codes added. I also can't make a recurring schedule or change a reoccuring schedule (to update to new days or caregivers) from the mobile app.

Other not as important but time savers the current app offers are listed below.....The save boxes by the phone and address seem redundant since you are saving all that information in the same area as all other demographics and a waste of time with extra steps. I can't see a caregivers entire schedule and compare from the week before without clicking the +1 or 2 to see all of their clients (which comes in handy when changing caregivers to cover shifts for sick or vacation times) I want to see all their clients. When adding a caregiver to a schedule it has open shifts there which has to be deleted every time before adding a new caregiver, before it would highlight it it and i could just hit backspace, now have to backspace the entire words "open shifts" before I can type in the caregivers name (again added steps that don''t seem like a lot, but unnecessary added steps and changes). The old system also automatically placed the date for the end of the authorization period when making a schedule reoccurence now it has to manually entered. Our company name should automatically be placed in the office drop down when entering a new payer source. The referral source should not have to have a first and last name attached, it should be able to be a company without additional information needed. Lastly it is requesting an email now for all clients, this is not something that should be mandatory or in asterixs some of my clients don't have an email address. The new system is too boxy and calendar like. I hope you take these suggestions into consideration.

We strongly suggest to be able to view and print a 2 week schedule calendar instead of 1 week or 1 month.

Add Ability For Client 'Unavailability'

Josh Mitchell 1 year ago 0

With the master schedules, it would help if you had somewhere on the schedule where let's say a family calls 2 months prior or whatever it is, and they say, I will be in town this day to this day, can you not have a caregiver those days. We also don't want to change the master schedule as it stays the same otherwise, it's just that one day or one week. Instead of us having to remember, the only other way is to publish those schedules out and then remove those days manually after published. Otherwise, when publishing master schedules, nothing stops us from publishing the day they don't want care. I think this could be beneficial, especiailly if you have a client that is only published a few weeks out at a time. If we were published greater than 3 months out, it wouldn't be a problem likely as I could just cancel the shift on the schedule. However, with summer and changing schedules, we aren't publishing longer than 4 weeks at time sadly!

Agency App

Josh Mitchell 1 year ago 0

When cancelling a shift by caregiver due to a call in or something, on the computer it gives you the option to create open shift. The Agency App does not. It just cancels the shift. Please allow ability to create open shift. Not sure if this is a bug or just an idea to implement.
Also, it would be great if in the agency app we could see a longer thread of the sms messages.
